For a beach session, natural is better so if you are good at doing natural makeup go for it. For all other sessions I HIGHLY recommend getting your hair and makeup done. It's the finishing touch, the icing on the cake. As you can see in my photos, I love hair and makeup and think it's worth every penny for your investment in a beautiful photo session to create memories for a lifetime.
If we are working outside with light , either sunrise or sunset, timing is important so it depends on the time of day and location.

Great question! All of your images will be color corrected and initially processed through Lightroom. That means I will convert the RAW images to jpg giving them the correct color, highlight, shadow, contrast and alignment. I offer additional retouching such as skin correction, slimming, etc as an additional fee. Most of the images you see on my site have some additional retouching because I find most of us want to look our absolute best for this type of photo memory.
No, photographers almost NEVER give unprocessed RAW images. That would be like going to a restaurant and asking for unprepared raw food!
